Turn heat back up to medium and add 1 tablespoon of an Italian seasoning mix (I use Pampered Chef), 1 can (10.75 oz) tomato soup, 2 cans (8 oz each) of tomato sauce - I like to use ones pictured above and 1 can (8oz) mushrooms - make sure to drain. Mix well. |
Add just a few squirts of mustard, this will take some of the tangy taste of the tomato out and just blend in very well. Continue to cook on medium heat as the pasta cooks, stirring every so often. |
When you water is ready cook your pasta (1 pound box) according to the direction on the box. This is the pasta I used this time, it is fun to use different shapes!! Once the pasta is done cooking, drain well. Put your sauce mix into the pan you made your pasta in, pour your pasta over the sauce and then mix well. |
Great to serve with garlic toast or just as is! |
