Chicken Sausage Skillet

Image
You will need olive oil, a red pepper, a small zucchini, a chicken breast, smoked sausage, a Roma tomato, basil and oregano. In a large skillet start heating 2 tablespoons olive oil on medium heat. Chop up 3/4 (or the whole thing if you like) of a medium red pepper and a small zucchini Place your chopped up pepper and zucchini in your skillet.   Once your peppers and zucchini are tender remove from skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.  While your peppers and zucchini are cooking you will want to slice up your smoked sausage (about 3/4 of the ring to get about a 1/2 pound or 8oz)  and cut up your chicken breast into small bite size pieces.  Cook your sausage and chicken in the same skillet that you cooked your peppers and zucchini  in (still on medium heat). While your sausage and chicken are cooking chop up one Roma tomato. Once your chicken is fully cooked (you can't see any pink) add all your veggies ...

Banana Chips

Image
You will need bananas and lemon juice.  Cut up your bananas (I did 2) into about 1/8 inch slices  Dip in lemon juice, making sure to get both sides. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and spread out your lemon dipped banana slices. Bake at 200 for 2 hours. After the 2 hours remove the pan from the oven and flip the slices over. Bake for 1 1/2 hours more, remove flip once more and bake an additional 15-30 minutes.  Remove your chips from the pan an place on a wire rack to cool.   Once cooled place your chips in an air-tight container to store. Snack away and ENJOY!!

Frosted Cinnamon Sugar Crescent Bites

You will need crescent rolls, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. On a piece of waxed paper roll out and separate your crescents into halves.  Pinch the perforated edges together and softly roll them out with either a rolling pin or glass making sure to not press too hard. Butter both sides of your rolls. On one half only sprinkle, spread out and slightly press in brown sugar (didn't measure out how much I used) just make sure your it is spread out evenly.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.  Fold over your wax paper so your only buttered half is on top of the sugared side.  Carefully peal back the wax paper. Using a pizza cutter cut into squares. Place your squares onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes, your bites will be nice and golden brown on top. To make your frosting - in a medium sized bowl combine 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon melted butter, 1 teaspoon vani...

In a medium sized bowl combine 2 1/2 cups Bisquick, 1 cup  finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup milk, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Mix  your ingredients well with a fork.  Your mixture will be lumpy and thick. Using an ice cream scoop place your biscuits on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. While your biscuits are baking combine 4 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon  dried parsley flakes and a dash of salt.  Mix very well. When your 10 minutes are up, brush or drizzle your butter mixture over the biscuits - make sure you use it all. Continue baking for 3-5 minutes until they are a nice golden brown on top. Let rest just a couple of minutes and ENJOY!!!
