Cheddar Bay Biscuits - Like the ones you get at Red Lobster



You will need Bisquick baking mix, finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese, milk, butter, garlic powder, dried parsley flakes and salt.


In a medium sized bowl combine 2 1/2 cups Bisquick, 1 cup  finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup milk, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Mix  your ingredients well with a fork.  Your mixture will be lumpy and thick.
Using an ice cream scoop place your biscuits on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
While your biscuits are baking combine 4 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon  dried parsley flakes and a dash of salt.  Mix very well.
When your 10 minutes are up, brush or drizzle your butter mixture over the biscuits - make sure you use it all.

Continue baking for 3-5 minutes until they are a nice golden brown on top.
Let rest just a couple of minutes and ENJOY!!!

I love those biscuits that they serve at Red Lobster but I had no idea how to make them so thank you =) Have you ever heard of something called jalapeno buttermilk biscuits?? It would be awesome to see how you would make it with your own style and tastes incorporated.

  2. They are quite tasty and amazingly easy to make!!

    I have not heard of them but I will research them and see what I can find and will make them sometime!
