You will need 2-3 ripe bananas, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, milk, eggs and chopped walnuts (optional)

You will need 2-3 ripe bananas to mash up to equal 1 cup.
Peal the bananas and mash up prior to putting in mix. |

In a medium/large bowl combine 1 cup flour, 2/3 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Once mixed add your 1 cup mashed bananas, 1/3 cup melted butter and 2 tablespoons milk. Mix well with blender.
Next add 2 eggs and 3/4 cup flour. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) and mix well. |

Pour your mixture into greased (and floured if an older pan) loaf pan. |

Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes. Insert toothpick into center and make sure comes out clean.
Let cool in pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and continue cooling on rack for at least 1 hour before slicing. |
