I have won a few cook-off's with my recipe.
You will need 3 peppers (different colors), medium sized onion, tomato soup, cheddar cheese soup, chili beans, beef, mild cheddar cheese, Lawry's seasoning salt, chili powder and Frito Scoops for eating the chili.
You will want 3 medium sized peppers, chop into about 1/4 inch size pieces. |
Chop up a medium sized onion into 1/4 inch size pieces. |
Cook 1 pound lean ground beef. Once done lower heat to medium and add your peppers, onion, a couple dashes of Lawry's seasoning salt and 3-4 dashes of chili powder of your choosing. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
After the 10 minutes lower heat to low and add 1 10 3/4 oz can tomato soup, 10 3/4 oz can cheddar cheese soup and 1 15 oz can Tex Mex style chili beans in chili sauce. Mix up well. |
Cut up 3/4 of an 8 oz block of mild cheddar cheese into smaller chunks. |
Add your cheese chunks to your chili. Keep on low or warm stirring about every 5 minutes till your cheese is fully melted. Once melted cover and continue cooking on low or warm for 1-2 hours stirring about every 15-20 minutes so flavors can mix. |
Serve up and instead of using a spoon to eat your chili try using Frito Scoops! |
ENJOY!!
