You will need 2 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 lbs chicken, 1 garlic clove, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1/4 cup apple juice, 1/3 cup (packed) light brown sugar, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon cider vinegar, 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup soy sauce and 4 oz fresh mushrooms - chopped (optional).
Cut up your chicken into bite size pieces and cook in your olive oil till done. Take out of pan and set aside. |
Serve over rice and ENJOY!! This recipe does have a little bit of heat to it so if you don't enjoy heat just reduce the amount of crushed red pepper you use. |
