Crock Pot Salsa Chicken




You will need taco seasoning, salsa and boneless skinless chicken breasts.

You will need 1-1.25 oz packet of taco seasoning.
You will need 1-15.5 oz jar of your favorite salsa.

Combine your taco seasoning and your salsa together and set aside.
Cut 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts into 1 inch strips.  Make sure to trim off any fat. 
Spread a small amount of your salsa mix in the bottom of your crock pot.
Place a layer of your chicken then salsa mix, the remainder of your chicken and then the remainder of your salsa mix.

Cover and cook on low for at least 8 hours.  There is no need to stir. 
When the 8 hours is up stir well and your chicken will just fall apart into shreds. 
Great on a tortilla with some low fat cheese and fat free sour cream for a healthy dinner.
