MMMM Monster Cookies

You will need flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, light brown sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs, walnuts, mini chocolate chips and mini M&M's.

Mix dry ingredients first in large bowl: 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar.  Mix well crushing any clumps of brown sugar you find.

Melt 2 sticks of butter, I always use butter not margarine, when making these cookies.

Add the melted butter, 1 teaspon vanilla and 2 large eggs.  Mix very well.

Add about 1 cup finely chopped walnuts (put some next to a penny so  you can see the approximate size you will want)

You will need 12oz mini M&M's and 12oz mini chocolate chips.

Add chopped nuts, M&M's and chocolate chips and mix very well.  Now some of the M&M's and chocolate chips may not stick into the mixture but that is ok as you can scoop them up as you from your dough balls.  Place into the fridge for about 10 minutes before starting.

I use the medium scoop from Pampered Chef to from my dough balls.  Pressing the scoop against the side of the bowl to make sure it is packed tight.  Scrap off any excess dough off the outside edge.  If you don't have a scoop like this make balls about the size of a golf ball, flattening the bottom before placing on the pan.

Space your dough balls enough distance apart so when they cook they don't become one big cookie.  As you see I use dark pans and have been using them for a long time.  If you can find these kind of pans they seem to work best for me.

Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes, all depends on your oven.

If using just one pan you will want to let it cool down before you place the next round of dough on it.

I remove my cookies from the pan pretty much right after I take them out of the oven and place them on a wire rack too cool.

This recipe made 46 cookies.

Enjoy!
