You will need Knorr vegetable dry mix (or other dry vegetable mix - I have just found Knorr to be the best), spinach, light sour cream, light mayo, green onions and hard rolls.
You will need a 1.4oz packet of dry vegetable mix (usually found in the dry soup mix area) |
Defrost a frozen 9-10oz package of chopped spinach. Once defrosted squeeze out as much of the liquid as possible and then separate out your spinach in a medium sized bowl. |
Finely chop up 3 green onions, making sure to rinse with cool water first. |
Add to your spinach - 16oz light sour cream, 1 cup light mayo, your dry vegetable mix and your green onions. |
Mix very well. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight to let the flavors blend well. Mix up again before serving. |
Cut out the top of your hard roll, piercing the knife in but not to the bottom, creating your bowl. |
Cut up the top section you removed. Fill your bowl with the spinach dip and serve up. Bowl is easily torn apart to enjoy your dip. Enjoy!! |
